Fjardarkolla (pronounced Far-dark-olla is the name of an old Viking boat, which translated means Cow of the Fjord) is currently moored in a marina with a garden mooring on the Grand Union canal in Watford. She’s a 70×12 ft wide beam house boat.
She has 1 x master bedroom, 2 x single bedrooms, large bathroom, utility room with shower and toilet, undercover bow, 2 x large skylights, double glazed windows, underfloor and double wall insulation. She was built and fitted by Colecraft in 2018. Colecraft build to the highest standard possible so she has all the amenities and comforts you would find in a luxury apartment. We spared no expense in having her built!
Enter through the double doors into the hallway where you’ll find ample storage and the utility room comprising of cassette toilet, shower, sink, travel fridge, washing machine and dryer (White Knight brand).
Enter into the open plan galley and living space which is equipped with integrated appliances – oven, stove, sink, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. The wood burner is placed in between the galley and living space for maximum spread of heat.
From here is the hallway leading to the 2 singe bedrooms, master bedroom with queen bed and ample fitted storage, and bathroom – shower, bath, pumpout toilet and ample storage.
Mooring: She’s permanently moored on a garden mooring at Bridgewater Marina in Watford. 10 mins walk away from the metropolitan line, 20 mins walk from the overground, 3 mins walk to the local shops.
The marina backs onto Cassiobury Park.
