The African Queen Has been a cruising hotel boat on the upper thames for the past 20 years. She has a beautiful mooring opposite the Mapledurham lock on a beautiful country estate. A new contract will need to be signed if the mooring is transferred. The mooring consists of secure parking, water and electricity. All deliveries diesel pump out, food deliveries can be delivered right next to the boat.
The boat consists of one superior cabin, four standard double cabins, one twin and two single cabins. All cabins are en-suite. There is also a crew quarters and a large captains suite too at the back of the boat which consists of a small lounge/ office large double cabin with bathroom and walk-in cupboard. The boat also has a fully fitted Laundry with ECG washing machine and tumble dryer. The Kitchen includes a double 110 range gas cooker, dishwasher microwave large chest deepfreeze and an American double door Fridge /Freezer. The LPG gas bottles are outside in a built in container near the kitchen door.
The engine room consists of a vitas generator, large battery bank with inverter, water pump plus a new diesel marine boiler. Daf Engine and large water tank and sewage tank.
The boat needs redecorating.
The African Queen can be utilised as a Hotel Boat ,Cruising Weekend Breaks, Cruising Holidays, Party Boat, restaurant. She is versatile for many uses. She is the only hotel boat between Henley On Thames and Wallingford. The scenery in this stretch of river is very beautiful. She has a large sun deck and big windows in the open plan lounge dining & bar area so rain or sunshine passengers always enjoy their holidays
The AQ is licensed to carry 12 passengers you do not need a skippers licence to operate her
