Introducing this gorgeous Tyler/Wilson 58ft Narrowboat built in 2013. The outside of the boat is in cream, green, black and grey, and has two solar panels to the roof on a 360 deg turntable which can be tilted or straight up for maximum effect. There are two gas lockers to the rear, and are locked, and so is the 400 litre diesel tank. It is a bow water fill and has a larger capacity tank specially contructed in PDF, and the waste tank is also specially constructed, and can be pumped on or into barrels.
The 17′ wheelhouse has a 6′ lounge which can be made into another bedroom, and can sit 6 people. There is a cupboard with drawer on one side and space for another fridge/ freezer, ample under seating space and under the wood floor is a extensive storage space. It has a vetus engine, Webasto two long radiators, and a 360 deg panaramic view. The wheelhouse collapses for bridges and works on hydaulics which were only put in 2022. Four new Lithium carbon batteries, last year and a Webasto last year, which is all maintained, storage room where the engine bay is, and has only 240+ on the clock. She is painted in cream and has red cushions in the lounge area by plumb, and the liftable floor is in wood.
No ducking as you go down three steps and into the galley which is in cream black and wood, which houses cupboards for the electrics, the boiler, emerrsion heater and is extra storage space. The long counter tops on either side and below are four cupboards either side, which have specially made shelves which pull out for easy access and also lipped to avoid spillages. Under the cupboards are 8 drawers for housing 240 tins which came in useful through Covid.
The wooden floor wends it way through past a pie oven/stove by Bubble only 2 years old which takes coal and logs. a cooker and into the dinette area which has a table to seat 4 and also converts to a bed. with under seat space and also access behind the gunnells underneath for storage. The wall at the one end is mirrored this give a long effect to the room, the lighting is individual so if power goes of the other sections work. There are two skylights for maximum light.
Into the bathroom where the lights come on automatically and can be changed from green to blue to red or just normal lighting, a Jabsco toilet an hand washbasin which came from Morocco and was hand-made. mirrored walls and a shower cubicle with deep sides, it will only have 1″ water underneath at any one time, to stop any flooding an invention by the owners, as are many features on the boat. Also storage for towels and toiletries. The floor specially designed is in Celtic knotwork and is two toned for effect.
Into the bedroom which has a 5′ bed mirrored wardrobes, bifold doors shelving and hanging space, under the bed is 6 drawers. There is underbed heating. and is in cream, red and wood, there is main lighting and under-gunnel lighting. The Houdini hatch is in the roof. She has been well maintained and is still being maintained as the owner lived on it till a month ago. Plenty of photos from building the boat to inspections etc. The price reflects the extensive work and extras, and viewing is the only way to appreciate her qualities.
