Maharani is a 48ft (12ft beam) Replica Dutch Barge located in Bristol Marina and is a wonderful example of a home afloat! Access to boat is through the wheelhouse door on starboard side. Entrance leads into the wheelhouse, with impressive views through the glass windows on all sides. There is plenty of room here for storage as-well as for additional seating. The wheelhouse is collapsible, to gain low bridge clearance when required. The engine room is located within the hull and accessible via a hatch under the wheelhouse floor. At the stern end is the main cabin, with steps leading down from the wheelhouse. This cosy master bedroom contains a fixed walk-around double bed with storage space underneath. There’s plenty of room for additional furniture. New blackout curtains were fitted in 2023. Heading from the wheelhouse towards the bow end of the vessel, steps lead down into the main saloon, a spacious and airy characterful open plan room with views overlooking the water and across the harbour. A beautiful skylight feature gives the room plenty of light, and can be opened to allow ventilation. There is also a wooden window-hatch, which again can be opened for ventilation. Included in the sale are the dining room table with 4x chairs, coffee table and large sofa. The L-shaped galley is located within the main space and boasts wooden surfaces, plentiful cupboard and storage space, compact dishwasher, stainless steel sink, 4-hob gas grill and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and Bosch washing machine (all included in sale). The bathroom is located off the saloon space and contains a large shower enclosure, stainless steel mixer tap and sink, Porta Potti toilet, mirrored cabinet for storing toiletries and towel heater mounted on the wall. Attached to the exterior of the vessel, stern-end, is a bicycle rack with storage for 2x bicycles. The spacious roof of the vessel allows room for additional storage and is a great place to sit and relax on a sunny day!
